Policy

The policy aims to manage the environment, energy, and resources for the sustainable quality of life in the institution.

  • The activities related to environmental and energy management are conducted in compliance with laws, regulations, and other relevant practices according to international standards, aiming to enhance efficiency at the global level.
  • It actively contributes to the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, aligning with all 17 goals, in order to enhance the institution’s development.
  • Promote and enhance the efficiency of the management system to address climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from activities within the institution.
  • Promote, develop, and enhance the efficiency of the management system for infrastructure planning and improvement, as well as landscape design based on environmental principles, including the conservation and expansion of green spaces.
  • Aim to instill awareness, knowledge, understanding, and promote the participation of students and staff in accordance with the principles of 3R: Reduce (minimizing usage or using less than necessary), Reuse (reusing), and Recycle (transforming for new use), in order to reduce the amount of waste and debris generated.
  • Promote and enhance the efficiency of alternative energy transportation to improve services for staff and students.
  • Promote and support the development of academic activities, research, and innovation, involving student participation, to establish a sustainable environmental management system, including conservation of the environment, energy, and resources.
  • Promote procurement practices that prioritize or consider environmentally friendly products, such as symbols indicating products sourced from sustainable forests, symbols indicating quality standards, symbols representing products made from recycled materials, or symbols indicating low greenhouse gas emissions.
